"I am just a guy who was called to spread hope."

After enduring a terrible divorce ending a 16 year marriage, I ended up in a dark place for months. During one of these dark days, I found myself sitting in my car outside the local gas station lost in a zombie state of ruminating thoughts and it finally hit me. I need to stop living in the past and embrace the present moment. It was time to put fear aside and be the person I was meant to be. I put down alcohol and picked up meditation and a healthy lifestyle to finally heal. This all led to a spiritual awakening of sorts. The days were brighter again and full of laughter, gratitude and happiness. I ditched my old self and the victim mentality. I forgave the people who hurt me and I forgave myself. I started doing random acts of kindness for people and realized how fulfilling that was for my soul. I eventually got a clear vision of this project and I knew Hope Cards could change the World.
